Thanks Terry

Well now that the weather is gettin nasty it was time to head in get goin on the Off-Road course. Got some materials together and started at it!

Gettin it in consisted of my fair share of beers but made short work of it really

Getting it in and organised went pretty smooth as there was noone to yell at or anything. I dont mind this however as I love to just plod away at a vision. I had notes and drawings down on paper to go by. Its the start, and stays close to whats intended but as always things come up and change it up! Time to do the ol 2 STEP,... and make it work

For example I had intended on at least 1 water feature. After getting everything in and moved around I didnt have the material to make it work so I had to loose the tub

So we're going to have a great place to come out and drive that scaler and test our abilities here

The idea with this Off-Road course is that we have the ability to change the course from day to day if need be. We have an excellent pipe and ball system to keep things in check. We have many markers in different colors that will allow us to run any number of routes and difficulties at will.

Here is the system of choice for a Charge R/C Off-Road Comp

Will keep you all up to date as things come alone and get the finished course up for viewing ASAP

Thanks for looking

Hey Yall another update from Charge R/C

Got in there today in all the mayham out there and got some more work done. I would say I have 80% of the lines made up for this course. Like I said before I will be able to change this at will and litterally make a whole new run from front to back.

Looking North

Heres looking South

Looking East

Here is a pic of the Charge R/C comp pipes

Here is a pic for scale purposes, and besides it just looks so good I had too.

All in all it was a great day out in the Charge Barn. Looking forward to tomorow when we start getting down to the final touches.

Thanks for looking
Glenn

Well got some lights up and now Im thinking of holding off on the paint till warmer weather. I dont think anyone will mind the plywood on the sides and I would rather get wheelin

In the spots that look like there is supposed to be something,... there is! Im heading out right now to install the first of a few obstacles on this already challenging course. Should have some more pics up soon!

This will likely be a members only course that will be open to all when we have events. Some minor regs to run the course as well. All info comming soon and will be posted here as well as on the website at WWW.CHARGERC.CA

Thanks for looking

OK folks I managed to get some more done out there so here it is so far!

This is "The Barricade" wheel placement fairly critical as to not rip out the twinstick Atlas combo Smile

This is our "Anchored Hairpin" gates at entry OR exit OR BOTH

We will be limiting tire size to 4" MAX I dont like to limit anything when it comes to fun and in this case its quite the opposite really. Anything bigger than that for tire size will simply diminish your fun here on this tight technical course. We will have a gate and marking system in place which always ups the excitement and we can configure any numerous ways to challenge ourselves.

We are accepting new members at this time because as you may or may not know a couple of us have commited to a loose club structure meeting every first Tuesday of the month from 5-9pm here at the Dirtpark. All comps will be open to eveyone meeting tire restrictions including non-club members.

Have a look at our club info at WWW.CHARGERC.CA for lots of info. I will have everything updaed by the end of the week there as well as Im having trouble getting all caught up on getting all scources up to date.

Thanks again
Glenn
