Do you think it will catch on?

Post  4mods on Sat May 14, 2011 12:59 am

I wonder, they work really well... but are all starting to look the same in the videos I watch. Hummmm

what I am talking about is all the guys running TVP chassis comp rigs without a body at all. I had a tvp chassis at one point but it was more of a rock racer then cut down to sized comp rig. I did like the look of it at the time. Mind you it was almost double the size of the standard comp rig.

What I am talking about is rigs like this. (borrowed from google images, but hosted on Tamiya club I guess forums)

Compared to what our trucks look like for the most part.

What do you guys think, will we be seeing more of these on the rocks... they do seem to work really good.

I think they will. More people are running them all over the place I think. I want one like that but personally im more of a fan with the body on then the other look in the first pic. But when done right it looks good in my opinion anyways and its slowly growing on me more and more for that look.

I believe this will catch on as everyone loves to personalize thier stuff. Adding a body to the rig allows for this and I personally think its great. Looking at tubes all day gets old. Having a rig that doesnt even have anything to scratch when in a compromised situatio seems to take alot of the fun away for me and I love to create my own 1 of a kind look Very Happy Just my .02
